The legal framework
Every casino accepting UK players must hold a remote operating licence from the UK Gambling Commission under the Gambling Act 2005 (as amended in 2014). The licence is issued to a company, not a brand.
Fund protection
Licensees must disclose their player-fund protection tier — Basic, Medium or High — in their terms and conditions.
